Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we are a turnkey operation where we provide all the elements, such as fine first-quality
fabrics, beautiful trims, best quality linings and hardware, expert construction, and professional
installation. This is our process and how we prefer to work.

Our policy is to provide all the elements such as fabrics, hardware, labor and installation
because it’s the only way we can ensure a high-quality end result. We do not generally use a
customer’s own material or hardware because we can’t guarantee the work. On occasion, we
may use some hardware or a bit of fabric they may have, but only if we are already working on
various projects for them.

We also insist on using only our vetted and insured installers for installation. We can sell the
product to you if you wish to install it yourself, but we cannot warranty it. Once the product is in
your hands, any warranty we may have provided is void. This is also the policy of our blinds and
shades manufacturers.

We do not carry stock on hardware, or parts for repairs. Everything we do is strictly custom, ordering everything new and made to our specifications for your project.

We do not repair window coverings that we did not sell, nor do we provide cleaning for any window coverings.

Hard treatments such as blinds, shades and shutters tend to take from 3-6 weeks, soft treatments such as draperies and valances take from 6-8 weeks. These estimates are reliable if all fabrics and components are in stock; the time frame is likely to be longer if fabric or other components are on backorder.

When we meet with you to do your consultation, we will chat about the amount you are willing to invest in your custom product. Once we have found the investment level you are comfortable with, we can discuss “good, better, best” levels of treatments.

You can generally expect blinds to start at around 150.00 per window installed, shades start around 350.00 per window, draperies would start at around 300.00 per linear foot.

Yes, our installers are insured, very knowledgeable, and have years of experience in the
window coverings industry.
