Since introducing Sunbrella’s interior window treatment collection to the Tennessee Valley region last year, we’ve had the privilege of bringing these exceptional window solutions to several projects across Southeastern Tennessee. These performance fabrics are unlike any other, and after a recent visit to the Sunbrella factory, we understand why.

Inside the Sunbrella Factory

Last month, I had the opportunity to visit Sunbrella’s manufacturing facility in Anderson, South Carolina. Walking through the factory floors, I witnessed firsthand the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into creating these exceptional fabrics. The precision of their Color to the Core™ technology process was particularly fascinating – watching as each fiber is infused with color before being woven into fabric ensures that these window treatments will maintain their vibrant appearance for years to come.

What struck me most during the tour was seeing how Sunbrella has successfully translated their legendary outdoor fabric technology into luxuriously soft interior textiles. The manufacturing team demonstrated their rigorous testing procedures, showing how each fabric undergoes extensive fade resistance and durability testing before being approved for production.

Our Recent Sunbrella Installation

One of our recent installations perfectly illustrates why we’re so enthusiastic about these fabrics. Our clients needed window treatments that could stand up to intense sunlight while maintaining an elegant appearance. We installed custom draperies using Sunbrella’s new interior collection, combining their fade-resistant properties with a soft, sophisticated texture that perfectly suited the home’s modern aesthetic.

In this recent installation, Sunbrella treatments were customized to our client’s specifications and expertly installed by our team.

The homeowners were particularly impressed with how the fabrics draped – something we’ve consistently heard from clients who are initially skeptical about “performance fabrics” in formal spaces.
